You upload photographs. You choose a Studio Look. We photograph the subject again in that look and give you the result. Each finished photograph costs one Studio Credit.

• Credits are bought in advance and do not expire.
• Credits are deducted when a shoot is sent to the studio, not when it finishes.
• If a photograph fails, its credit is returned automatically, once.
• Credits have no cash value and are not exchangeable for money once bought. Under Dutch and EU distance-selling rules you may withdraw within 14 days of purchase, for the credits you have not yet used.

That you have the right to use the photographs you upload, and the right to photograph what is in them. Do not upload someone else’s product photography, someone else’s face without their agreement, or anything illegal.

You do. The photographs we make from your uploads are yours to use commercially, without restriction and without crediting us. We claim no licence over them and will not publish them as examples of our work unless you tell us, in writing, that we may.

A result stays as close to the real thing as your own photograph allows. The studio can change the light, the surface and the room, but it cannot see what your photograph does not show. A label that is out of focus, a corner in shadow, a side of the product outside the frame: all of that has to be filled in, and that is where a result drifts from what you sold. The sharper and better lit the photograph you send, the closer it stays.

Every Studio Look is written to leave your subject exactly as photographed. In practice, fine print on packaging is the hardest thing to preserve, and a result can come back with a label that is not quite right. Check a photograph before you publish it.

We do not promise that a particular photograph will work, that a result will match a specific expectation, or that the service is never down. What we do promise is that a failed photograph never costs you a credit.

We may suspend an account that uploads illegal material, tries to work around the credit system, or puts the service at risk. If we suspend an account for any other reason, we refund the credits it has left.

Dutch law applies, and the courts of the Netherlands have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protections your own country’s law gives you.
